Before stepping into the business world, Matthew practised law for more than 30 years in various fields. It was during this period, where he garnered a solid knowledge base through working with and advising foreign clients on diverse issues such as foreign investment regulations, corporate laws, employment laws, immigration laws, personal and corporate finance, entrepreneurial development, funding, mergers and acquisitions. To further expand his portfolio and milestones, he has invested globally by efficiently seizing lucrative opportunities in the South-East Asian , UK , Europe and US Markets. These days, he is focused on helping others to build their legacies and preserve their wealth.

Miss Joy Cheng is a graduate from University Malaya with Bachelor of Building Surveying but in her careers in property development, quantity surveying, corporate management and now as a managing director of The American Group. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the governing body of the real estate industry professionals in the USA and is a Certified International Property Specialist, a prestigious designation from the NAR. Joy is the Vice President and Treasurer of Yeoh Foundation, a not-for-profit organization set up to help underprivileged youths wherever they may be and Vice President and Treasurer of Business Networking Club USA (BNC USA), a business networking platform that set up in Chicago, USA.

Wan Rou has started the industry in mid 20s then become the Australia team leader in a year. She continues to learn and understand different opportunities abroad including UK, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, Germany etc. l became the country Manager after 6 years and then she gains better understanding about the real estate market as a whole. She took part in helping not only individuals but institutional investors/companies to build their portfolios from buying land, developing and selling outside Malaysia. She was honoured to be interviewed by BizFm 89.9 about Are Malaysian buying overseas property post pandemic in 2023.

Vicky Silvano is a member and manager of The American Group, and based in Chicago, a licensed real estate broker for over 20 years. She is a Director of the Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). One of CAR and Illinois Realtor’s professional partners is the AREAA (Asian Real Estate Association of America), where Vicky served as the 2016 National Chairwoman.
Vicky has been one of Chicago’s premier agents for over 20 years. Her services expand to both domestic and international clientele. She is also a multiple award winner for real estate professionalism in the USA and other countries. Vicky has been living in Chicago since she was a student. As a local person there, she is in charge of The American Group’s real estate operations there. She is also the Investment Advisor of the Yeoh Foundation which is a collaborative partner of the Obama Foundation.
